Lemonade, a Meltdown, and Sleeping Better

We had planned on going to the library yesterday afternoon so Elizabeth could explore and enjoy the children’s room without a program going on (there is too much stimulation for her when programs are happening) but we had to cancel. About an hour before we were going to leave, she had a meltdown out of nowhere and she didn’t bounce back quickly. It was disappointing because it had been several days since she’d had one, plus I had been looking forward to taking the kids out. But while the meltdown was happening, it became clear that it would be better to stay home.

Probably an hour or so later, I decided  we should go out if only to get Chick-fil-A lemonade through the drive thru because I was feeling sorry for myself. Plus, I figured Elizabeth might need a nap. The boys didn’t want to come (new season of Fortnite started yesterday) but Maggie wanted to come so Izzy did too, of course.

After getting myself a large lemonade, we drove to Duncan Donuts to get little donut holes and Maggie wanted a muffin.

I made honey buffalo meatballs in the slow cooker for dinner. Stephen has something going on with his nose, not sure if he’s sick, if it’s the change in weather, or the pollen, but it’s running like crazy. I’m sure the spicy meatballs didn’t help, lol.

Ladt night, Isabella only woke once at 3:15!!! It has been many MONTHS since she slept that long. I actually can’t remember when she did last. ??? Anyway, so thankful for sleep!
